Comparisons
How we compare — and when you should stay put
Honest write-ups against the categories people weigh us against. Each one credits what those tools do well, and each one tells you who should not switch.
Comparison pages are usually written to win an argument, which is why nobody believes them. These are written to help you make a decision you will still be happy with in two years — including the decision to keep what you have.
We do not quote anyone else's pricing or plan limits. Those change constantly, we cannot verify them from here, and one stale claim would discredit everything else on this site. We describe the category honestly and let you check your own tool against it.

The evaluation guide is the one we would hand someone who was not going to buy from us — what to actually check before committing a business to any platform. The research page publishes our own measurements, with the commands that reproduce them.
